A Tour of Your New Forest Cottage
Ground Floor Step into the welcoming hallway, where you’ll find ample space for coats and shoes before heading into the main living areas. The expansive lounge is a perfect space for everyone to relax, with comfy sofas, a Smart TV, and a cozy wood-burning stove. French doors open directly onto the rear garden. The real heart of the home is the spacious dining kitchen, a sociable space with a large table and benches, plus a breakfast bar with four stools. It’s a culinary dream with a Smeg range cooker, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, and even red and white wine fridges. A side door provides easy access to the garden.
Also on the ground floor is a practical utility room with a fridge/freezer and washing machine. Bedroom 4 offers flexible sleeping arrangements with a single day bed that can be converted into a full-height double bed. A convenient cloakroom with a basin and WC completes this level.
First Floor Upstairs, the master bedroom suite awaits, featuring a king-size bed and built-in wardrobes. A separate dressing area with drawers provides extra space. The en-suite bathroom includes a bath, a separate shower cubicle, a wash basin, and a WC.
Bedroom 2 has a double bed, a hanging rail, and a dressing table/desk. Bedroom 3 has two single low beds that can be configured as a single or low twins. A beautiful, recently refitted family bathroom serves these bedrooms, complete with a stunning copper slipper bath nestled under the eaves and a hand-held shower attachment.
Outdoor Space
The secluded and fully enclosed rear garden is a peaceful haven. A paved terrace is furnished with a rattan dining set for al fresco meals and drinks, with a charcoal barbecue available for guests’ use. The garden also has a lush lawn bordered by mature flower beds. In the front garden, a bistro set offers a lovely spot for a quiet morning coffee.

Springers Cottage is perfectly placed for exploring. A two-minute walk takes you into the village of Brockenhurst, with its array of pubs, cafes, restaurants, and shops. The renowned Pig restaurant and the luxurious Careys Manor are both close by for fine dining or a spa day. The New Forest National Park is just a short stroll away, offering miles of trails where you can encounter free-roaming ponies, cattle, and donkeys. For a day trip, the Georgian market town of Lymington is a short drive or train ride away, where you can catch the ferry to the Isle of Wight.
Practical Information
- Parking: There is private driveway parking for two cars behind an electric gate, which should be kept closed at all times.
- Pets: One dog is accepted as standard, with a second possible by negotiation. A small pet charge applies. Dogs must be fully house-trained and stay on the ground floor.
- Amenities: Bed linen, towels, gas central heating, and Wi-Fi are all included. A welcome basket of logs is provided in season.
- EV Charging: Not available at the property.
- Bicycle Storage: A secure space is available in the garden. Please bring your own lock.
- Please note: Springers Cottage is suitable for a maximum of six adults. The hot tub is not for guest use.
- CCTV: For security, a CCTV camera is in place overlooking the driveway and rear garden but is not monitored during guest stays.
