The Queens Head, Burley

The Queen’s Head has a rich history that goes all the way back to 1685 when it was first established as a blacksmiths. Even after 100 years, the pub has managed to preserve its original charm and features. It has always had a special bond with horses, and this connection is still evident today as wild horses and ponies can be seen freely roaming near the inn.

The Gun Inn, Keyhaven

A Grade II listed pub, The Gun Inn in the pretty hamlet of Keyhaven, just a mile outside Milford on Sea is making headlines in the local food scene with head chef, Mark Young championing the way.

Since opening in April 2021, head chef Mark, known as The New Forest Chef with his passion for local produce is firmly establishing this pub as a favourite with locals and tourists. Already it is becoming known for its ever-evolving menu, featuring the freshest local food, mostly cooked on a 3ft outside grill.
